Getting started

Your first conversation

Prepare a Prospect, start a session, and turn the debrief into your next practice focus.

Sales Copilot keeps preparation, live assistance, rehearsal, and coaching connected to one Prospect. This guide covers the current development desktop, with macOS as the active development platform.

1. Check your workspace

Open the desktop and finish sign-in in your browser. Confirm the browser account before returning to the app. The workspace selector beside the logo shows where you are working. Personal and each Team keep separate content.

2. Create a Prospect

In Prospects, choose New prospect. Enter Company and What you're offering, then add a Goal for the first conversation. A next meeting is optional; when setting one, supply both its date and time. Choose Create prospect.

3. Prepare the context

Open the Prospect's Brief to review its goal and context. In Preparation, choose a Playbook, select a seller profile if useful, and use Add from Library to attach relevant materials. Check the launch dock's Effective setup.

4. Start deliberately

Choose Rehearsal to practice with a text AI counterpart, or Live for a real call. Review permissions, then choose Start rehearsal or Start live session. Starting requires session access for the selected workspace.

5. Close the loop

Choose End call when finished. Open Debriefs, select the session, and review its summary, coaching analysis, and transcript in the Debrief. Return to the Prospect's Memory to inspect its next focus before practicing again.
