Create and choose a Playbook

Author reusable coaching instructions and check which version a Session will use.

A Playbook tells the copilot how to help. Open Library → Playbooks to search, inspect, create, or edit your instructions. New Playbooks start private.

Create the instructions

  1. Choose New Playbook and enter a Name.
  2. Choose Structured or Custom.
  3. In Structured mode, set Verbosity, Methodology, and Assistance. Adjust Lead with the answer, Name trade-offs, and Include proof points as needed.
  4. In Custom mode, write Instructions covering positioning, objections, proof points, or tone. Use the provided variable buttons to insert supported placeholders; unknown or malformed placeholders prevent saving.
  5. Choose Create.

Assistance currently offers Always — answer every customer cue and On request — only when I ask. Choose the behavior deliberately; the future Quiet Edge experience is not the current cockpit.

Library Playbooks with the selected structured Playbook and its response settings.
Inspect a Playbook beside the list before editing it or choosing it for a Prospect. Fictional example data. View full size.

Choose where it applies

In a Prospect's Preparation, use Playbook → Change to select its setting. For a one-time change, choose Playbook for this session in the launch dock. That override leaves the Prospect setting unchanged.

For an inherited account choice, open your avatar and choose Default playbook. Before starting, check the resolved source and version in Effective setup.

Edit and share carefully

Use Edit on an owned Playbook, then Save changes. Saving creates a new version; past Sessions keep their copy. A teammate's shared Playbook offers Duplicate to edit. In an eligible Team, an owner can explicitly share their Playbook or make it private again.
